Creases of this form seem very simple, but, from my point of view, it is one of the most perspective base forms. You can see that, folding the square, we again came to a square. It means, we can fold from it one of the base forms. Such base forms are called the blinz bases. These bases have complementary opportunities.

To fold this base percrease two diagonals. If you have paid attention on the pattern of this form, you see, that these creases have only preparatory character. And do not have take part in the final model. They are necessary to us to mark middle of the square. At the second stage we shall fold all corners of the square to its middle.

The final model looks like blinz, in which something is wrapped up.
